چکیده

ABSTRACT Conservation agriculture principles applied to peanut can reduce soil erosion and production costs when cultivated in rotation with sugarcane. Still, the problem compaction is leading cause of skepticism about efficacy this practice. This research aimed study effect three management strategies compared conventional for cv. IAC-OL3, sugarcane using MEIOSI (method intercropping occurring simultaneously) system agronomic practices additional analysis on changes physics properties. The trial was conducted 2019-2020 Planalto municipality (São Paulo, Brazil) under a green-harvested field, randomized complete block experimental design. consisted four treatments (conventional tillage, minimum tillage chisel, strip-tillage, no-tillage) five replications. Although no differences were verified bulk density porosity among treatments, highest values penetration resistance observed no-tillage treatment all evaluations (before planting, at beginning flowering, before after harvesting) comparison tillage. difference diminished from planting end cycle. Furthermore, low disturbance maximum covering straw significantly increased available water capacity reduced incidence severity groundnut ringspot virus (GRSV) plants. Consequently, both minimum-tillage have pod yield average by 695 991 kg ha -1 more than strip-tillage respectively, without terms quality losses.

Integrative impacts of soil tillage on crop yield, N use efficiency and greenhouse gas emission in wheat-corn cropping system

Wheat-corn cropping system is one of the most important grain production systems in theworld. However, the integrative impacts of soil tillage on crop yield, N use efficiency (NUE)and greenhouse gases (GHGS) emissions are not well documented in this system. Thus, a twoyear field experiment was carried out in a typical wheat-corn cropping system with four tillageregimes during the wheat season, ...

Elevated atmospheric CO2 effects on biomass production and soil carbon in conventional and conservation cropping systems

Increasing atmospheric CO2 concentration has led to concerns about potential effects on production agriculture as well as agriculture’s role in sequestering C. In the fall of 1997, a study was initiated to compare the response of two crop management systems (conventional and conservation) to elevated CO2. The study used a split-plot design replicated three times with two management systems as m...

Effects of Cropping Sequences on Population Densities of Meloidogyne hapla and Carrot Yield in Organic Soil.

The influence of various cropping sequences on population densities of Meloidogyne hapla and carrot yield was studied in organic soil under microplot-and field conditions. Spinach, radish, barley, oat, and wheat were poor or nonhosts for M. hapla. Population densities of M. hapla were maintained or increased on cabbage, celery, lettuce, leek, marigold, and potato. Marketable percent-age and roo...
